40 years of innovation in batch plant controls

Mixer Systems, Inc. has been pioneering computerized batch plant controls for the concrete products industry since the 1980s. The first system, the E-100, was designed and built to integrate seamlessly with mixers and batch plants from Mixer Systems. Approximately 400 E-100s were produced and many of these are still in operation today.

Starting in 2009, Mixer Systems, Inc. introduced the next generation of batch plant automation, the E-150. It was the culmination of many years of batching control knowledge and experience, resulting in a modern, operator-friendly system that has numerous cutting-edge features along with backwards compatibity as a direct replacement for the older E-100s.

Based around a 22” high-definition, industrial touch-screen display, the E-150 is powered by a PLC/PC hybrid computer system housed in a steel NEMA 4 wall mountable enclosure that is adaptable to most concrete products batch plants currently in operation.

Additional features of the E-150 include:

• • Full simulation mode allows batch operators to gain experience by batching their mix designs in real-time without actually using cement and aggregate materials.
  • Highly accurate slump and yield control of every concrete mix design
  • Automatic and manual batching via the E-150 touchscreen
  • Online access that allows for remote diagnostics of mechanical and electrical plant issues and factory service and assistance on repairs
  • The related plant schematics and electrical drawings are all accessible and can be printed directly from the E-150
  • Fully accepted by the PCI, DOTs and numerous other associations.
  • Since the E-150 is designed, built and installed by Mixer Systems, any service questions or issues are handled by our dedicated service staff.
